********* Every country not in the excel list needs a visa


********* whoever gets an ordinary visa can apply through visa-portal. If there is no Embassy in their country or they want another type of visa (e.g. special) they need to apply themselves.

Other Conditions for exemption from Georgian Visa:


  • International travelers who are holders of valid visas or/and residence permits determined by the Ordinance № 256 of the Government of Georgia, may enter and stay in Georgia for 90 days in any 180 day period.


  • Foreign nationals who are holders of the UNO's or its specialized agencies travel documents (Laissez-Passer), can enter or stay on the territory of Georgia without a visa for full 1 year.


  • Holders of diplomatic or official/service passports of *China, *Egypt, *Guyana, *Indonesia and *Peru may enter and stay in Georgia without visa.


  • Compatriots residing abroad, who are citizens of the country whose citizens need a visa for entering Georgia, are authorized to cross the state border of Georgia without a visa and stay in Georgia for no more than 30 days;


  • Aliens holding a Georgian residence permit or a temporary residence permit of a refugee or a person with humanitarian status for the entire period of the above mentioned documents validity.


  • Members of a crew of an international airline, railway, or marine transport and passengers that need an interim change of carrier or means of transport and have a document evidencing the right to enter their country of destination do not require a visa for transit movement in Georgia. Period of stay in Georgia should not exceed 10 (ten) days. Passengers are not allowed to leave an area signated specifically for transit at an airport, a railway station or a seaport.




  • The Republic of Georgia proposes five different types of Visa. In order to attend the LDAMUN 2017 every International Delegate (definitely those ones needing visa), at first, must apply either for Special(B) or Ordinary(C) types of visas and second, must indicate that it is a short-term visa.




1. E-visa Portal – It is the easiest way to get a C category(ordinary visa) after filling all the necessary information, a confirmation email will be sent to make sure that the email is real and parties agree on the terms of payment of the state duty. The latter has to confirmed within an hour and the state duty must be paid within five hours after confirmation.


Decision making process, in case of an ordinary visa submitted through E-visa portal, takes 5 working days. Without any exceptions.


2. Ordinary way of getting visa in the embassy – Any alien can get any type of visa, no special procedures. All the necessary documents are (also indicated on the website) :


1. Fully completed visa application form;


2. Travel document / passport;


3. Passport-size photo according to ICAO standards;


4. Receipt of payment consular fee ;


5. Invitation letter - should be submitted only if it is required by the visa issuing authority.


**** in case a person with representative powers submits the papers, the document evidencing such representative powers must be presented to the visa issuing authority.

Decision making process takes 10 working days.

Persons applying for ordinary visas in our case will receive either a C1 category visa – people arriving in Georgia for Touristic purposes, or a C3 visa – business meetings and negotiations; participants of scientific workshops, conferences or other research, pedagogical, cultural or sports events;


Generally, this service costs 20 USD, but in different embassies these costs can be waived in different ways (according to the policies in place).
